(PHOTO: Greg M. Cooper - USA TODAY Sports) It’s only been a week, but it couldn’t be more clear Cam Newton is ready to prove many people wrong in 2020.
The New England Patriots quarterback stepped things up a notch even further on his very active Instagram page with another motivational workout video featuring some rather strong language.
In the video posted on Sunday, Newton yells into the camera “I’m getting tired of being humble now…I’m getting tired of all this humble s—. Because when you humble, they start taking advantage of you.”
After winning the NFL MVP award in 2015, Newton’s numbers and health has declined in the seasons since.
Newton missed 16 games over the past two seasons due to shoulder and foot injuries.
However, once you watch the video below, it’s apparent Newton is embracing a clean slate and positive future.
