As members of the New England Patriots continue adjusting to a socially distant offseason of workouts, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu was seen practicing punt returns in a rather eye-catching manner on Monday.

Sanu caught footballs launched over a house using a customized Rutgers University seeker machine.

Back in March, Sanu underwent successful ankle surgery and last month began rehab without a walking boot.

Check out Sanu’s latest progress in the video below.

Sanu will have more time to practice at home this summer, as the Boston Globe’s Jim McBride tweeted on Tuesday that both coaches and veterans will not have to report back to Gillette Stadium until training camp.

According to McBride, most of the Patriots veterans have completed their offseason virtual workouts and meetings and therefore will be off until camp opens in late July under new COVID-19 guidelines.

As for coaches, while they will still need to attend some virtual meetings along with the rookies.
