Back on April 29th 2007, the New England Patriots sent shock waves of fear into the rest of the NFL when a fourth round pick was sent off to the Oakland Raiders for Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss.

You know what followed, an historic 2007 season that saw both Brady and Moss set NFL single season touchdown records on their way to the first 16-0 season.

Although the duo never managed to accomplish the ultimate goal of a championship, Brady and Moss punished NFL defenses in their two full seasons together.

In 35 regular season games, Moss hauled in 190 receptions for 2,896 yards and 39 touchdowns from Brady.

On Tuesday, the NFL Throwback Twitter account took a look back at some of their best highlights as teammates.

The dominant connection would end just four weeks into the 2010 season when Bill Belichick traded Moss back to the Minnesota Vikings following issues over his Patriots future.

Despite the unceremonious ending, Moss and the Patriots made amends following his retirement from the NFL.

At his Hall of Fame induction in 2018, Moss gave a special shoutout to Belichick in his speech and he returned to Patriots training camp as a surprise guest last summer.

The stint may have been short, but the Brady to Moss period remains an unforgettable one in Patriots history.
