(PHOTO: David Butler II - USA TODAY Sports) Two days after recording career touchdown pass number 500 to Josh Gordon, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady continues his march to another milestone, 1,000 career rushing yards.
On Instagram Saturday, Brady shared a photo of his 1-yard touchdown lunge with the caption “One yard closer…19 to go! The quest continues #TB1K”
While Brady is averaging just 2.6 rushing yards a game in 2018 and 3.8 for his career, before the season he set a goal to try and reach the mark before retiring.
Should Brady reach 1,000, he will join Brett Fave as the only quarterbacks with 60,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing.
