The announcement was made this morning that Tom Brady will be on the cover of the upcoming EA Sports NFL Madden game, which is a little concerning given the past history.

Rob Gronkowski made the cover last season and while the Patriots did win the Super Bowl, an injury ended his season and kept him from being an active participant during their championship run.

That further reinforced the “Madden Curse” that many fans were worried about when he made the cover, and now with Brady gracing the cover this year, those same fears were being thrown around on social media.  As a result, Brady took to his Facebook page with a video in partnership with EA Sports to try and reassure everyone who might be worried about him.

The veteran quarterback downplayed it, saying there’s no such thing as curses and that it’s “All Good”.

You can hear from him below:

Brady’s no stranger to beating the odds, including helping his team become the first to overcome a 19 point 3rd quarter deficit to win a postseason game after previous teams were 0-93.  That performance earned New England their fifth title and further entrenched him into the NFL record books.

Needless to say, fans should feel pretty good about his chances.
