For the first time all season and dating back to 2014, there was no “Gronk spike” in the Patriots end zone Sunday afternoon, despite the Patriots putting 51 points on the board versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did however have four catches for 101 yards receiving which gave him the 17th 100 yard game of his career, a Patriots franchise record that continues to grow.

Gronkowski is no stranger to witty one liners and funny comments and when asked about the upcoming bye week he gave another vintage Gronk response as he said he’ll let his “muscles chill.”

“You can always take a positive out of the bye week,” Gronkowski said to the media after the victory Sunday. “Work hard, get your body right, get your strength back in the weight room and just stay conditioned. Just rest, let your muscles chill and do what you’ve got to do to be ready for the next game.”
