This is SIMILAR to another thread, but not the same... please do not threadjack this one... just list (with a BRIEF reason, if necessary), your top 5, in order, MVP picks... KEEP IT SHORT AND SWEET

#1 Alexander: His team is #1 seed in NFC, he will probably break the rushing TD record and win a rushing title

#2 Brady: led a team of replacements to a division title; among lead leaders in stat categories; leadership and will to win may be unmatched in nfl history

#3 Palmer: among stat leaders; without him, would YOU want the bungles?

#4 Manning: gotta admit, he lights up the scoreboard; has had a good, healthy team around him all season

#5 Tiki or Steve Smith: not really sure here; both had great seasons for good teams.

#1 Brady, has it all, despite a makeshift line and huge number of injuries, been as consistent as they come, proven winner.
#2 Manning, starting 13-0, and not throwing 40+ TD passes on an injury free team makes him close second.
#3 Alexander, in the real world and in a big market, this would be hands down #1, but being in Seattle makes him #3.
#4. Carson Palmer, young, brought back the Bengals to glory, but not enough yet to bring him above #4.
#5. Tiki Barber, huge star power in big market team, had a great year also.

Brady is clearly #1, but playing on a "team" may hurt him and the individuality of Manning or possibly Alexander may help them move to the forefront. These are tough choices and each could be argued for on their own merits.

1 - Brady
2 - Mc Ginest
3 - Seymour
4 - Bruschi
5 - Vinatieri

1. Brady (NE) - kept his team afloat - the player any team could least do without.

2. Tiki Barber (NYG) - Shouldered the load while Manning Jr learns the trade at pro level.

3. Alexander (SEA)- Benefits from the best run blocking O-Line in the league but some heavy duty stats in an excellent year for Seattle.

4. E.James (IND) - This is the guy who makes the Colts tick - illusive and tough.

5. S.Smith (Car) - The only real receiving target of note on the team - still puts up career numbers.

ESPN's latest poll on the league MVP has gone another way...they have updated their selection and have taken Brady off the poll.

They now list:

Alexander
Manning
Barber
Palmer

Couple of days ago they also had Brady on this list. Last time I looked Alexander was ahead by a landslide and Manning had 12% with Palmer, Barber and Brady having 11% of the vote. But why take Brady off the poll????
