Anyone who is bothered by Brady's no-show needs to get a life. The guy has done this deal three times already. I've been to the White House several times and other than two rooms in the basement, it gets old pretty quick.

Felger doesn't strike me as dumb. I'm confident that he's fully aware of what he's trying to do. Can't say the same about Mazz tho.... I think he might be that dumb.

I agree. Felger is not dumb. His whole on-air persona is sculpted and contoured. Felger WANTS to polarize his audience. I've been told by people who have run into him in Nantucket that say he is an ok guy. Sara is also very nice. I've never met him personally.

Mazz is not as far along. I actually agree with most of what he says on his baseball show but from 2-6 he annoys the hell out of me...that voice. Ugh.

Tanguay has taken contrarian-ism to a whole new level. Hes desperate to stay relevant. Saying Brady was an elitist was way over the top. Unfounded and idiotic.

I've never liked dweeb-ish/geeky guys that are sports commentators. Which is why I prefer Felger over Mazz or Tanguay. For the life of me, Tanguay just doesn't fit as a sports commentator. He looks more like a professor!

Geeks belong in geeky professions....in my opinion!

But I will say that Rich Eisen is an exception....looks like a geek but does a great job.

And I'm betting Clonamery probably probably won't agree with my comments!

Tanguay might be the worst but dumbest guy on Comcast is A.Sherrod Blakely. He seemed to think Josh Smith was a franchise player for the Atlanta Hawks..

Yeah even for Tanguay I was amazed how far he was jumping the ship to stay relevant. He was basically trashing Brady's lifestyle, taking photographs on vacation to suggest how much of an elitist he is. Curran was like "what the **** are you talking about?".

As for Felger, I agree. It's not popular in these parts to suggest your okay with him. His shtick on the radio doesn't bother me too much. Knowing how Boston sports media is has desensitized me to it. Felger at the very least isnt a frothing from the mouth hater like Borges or Tanguay.

People can't take these guys seriously. They will say things on air just to get a rise out of the audience. The difference is the quality of the argument that they make and the credibility they have. I think for the most part, Felger does his homework (except when explaining the NFL salary cap). Thats what I think Mazz is ok with baseball. I hate his voice but he watches the games and his opinion is informed. Plus he covered games for 15 years. In my opinion he has credibility. With Felger his is a stooge.Completely uneducated on most issues.

Tanguay used to be informed re: the Celtics. Now he is a empty suit.

That is one of the reasons I tolerate Felger. He isn't an idiot and for the most part knows what he is talking about. He'll just jump at the contrarian argument where he can because gets a rise out of people. I don't listen to his sports talk and think "wow he has no knowledge of sports". Not at all, except as you said with the salary cap. I can find the show entertaining when they aren't getting obnoxious in regard to the Patriots. I can tolerate criticism just fine when it is due. But the "Is this Brady's last year in New England? Is Garropolo taking over sooner rather than later?" diatribe had me sickened.

Funny for him to insinuate that Tom's a racist when he is admired, respected and considerered a terrific leader by team that is comprised somewhere around 75% African American & other minority players. **** off Stephen A.

I agree with Steven A Smith, Tom F Brady did this all by himself, like it or not. If he didn't know the consequences then he is stupid and if he knew the consequences and still didn't show he is stupid. I love the guy he is the GOAT. I don't think that TFB is a racist, that's not the reason he didn't show.

So annoying that anytime somebody says (or assumed) they don't like Obama they are assumed to be a racist like Tim Thomas and now Brady apparently.

Tanguay is not remotely smart enough to be either a professor OR a geek. He is what he is, an idiot.

No. He just gives them a platform Felger's idea of a balanced panel to have on to discuss the Pats would be himself, Borges, Shaugnessy and Tomase.

I don't believe there's any sadness at all to Tom decision. It may be true, but certainly not sad.

If not racist, then maybe racially insensitive/ignorant?

To me, the key mistake that Stephen A Smith makes is comparing Brady's actions when Bush was in the White House to when Barack Obama is in there. Why think like that? He is obviously making a distinction of race which is irrelevant to anything in reality.

Making assumptions based on something irrelevant is foolish. Personally, I trust Tom Brady's integrity 100%. And I'm ok with whatever reason he didn't attend....make that 110%!
