What I mean is which changes will be made that stick long-term?

And I'm not talking about testing protocols, high fives, group hugs, etc.

I'm talking about changes such as:

Will fans embrace the mic'd up access to players in the absence of crowd noise, and will this become the new television standard?

Will some of these postseason tournaments prove to be more entertaining than the current formats?

Covid 19 changed everything, until a vaccine is created and can be taken like a flu shot. Not sure about the logistics in sports, we will see what'll be like when hockey comes back and baseball starts.

I'd like to know an estimate on how many people actually get a flu shot because it seems like very few. I don't see many people getting a coronavirus vaccine when it's available.

Do pro sports make this a requirement for players? I don't see how they can enforce it.

Permanently hopefully not but in the short and medium period A LOT

Only probably a vaccine COULD put the normality back...so not at all in a short period...i think 2020 is gone

If the NBA comes back this summer, has some form of playoffs, their season could end in September. Then next season starts up Christmas Day.

I could see them wanting to permanently move the start of the season to Christmas. The NFL dominates November / December anyway.

Nothing permanently. It will fall in line as every other virus has once we get the vaccine and treatment.

Maybe you don’t come from a region that would have a majority of people wanting the vaccine. I, for one, believe a high % of people in the world that have access to a working vaccine will indeed be glad to have it.

I know very few anti vax individuals and I’m pretty confident almost everyone I know will be happy to line up when it’s available.

I think it could become law in some states.

At least it could allow businesses to ban patrons who don't have proof of taking the vaccine.

The NYFL had a horseshoe up their butt when it came to the timing of the virus. Every other sport was harmed and already changed.

The NYFL will do the same as it always does when it comes to a crisis. They'll give it the best lip service that money can buy. Nothing will change other than seeing a new line of official Covid-19 gear.

One change that I'd like to see would be more power going to the players.

I would like to see more money going to the players.

Everytime a franchise changes hands millions and billions of dollars go to owners built upon the sweat of hundreds of players.

Have the owners give a capital gains percentage to the players union general fund to help those in need former players.

Temp checks are kind of useless when you can spread it without having a fever

Anti-vaccine adherents are a minority in this country. If you want to bet that fewer than 50 percent of Americans would take a vaccination should one prove effective against Covid-19, I would be happy to oblige.

Doing a quick Google search, numbers fluctuate from less than half to a little over a half of Americans get a flu shot.

There was talk within college football of moving next season to spring. Many felt if that happened college football could permanently become a spring sport.
