I thought season 3 was good but went for too many over-the-top thrills, and I thought the character development started to go astray. Still better than 99% of TV, though. I guess for me nothing could live up to season 2, which had me balling at the end.

My preferences definitely run towards the geek/SF type shows, though not exclusively.

The shows currently airing that I look forward to most right now:
    Heroes
    Pushing Daisies
Sanctuary (on SciFi, stars the actress who plays Carter on Stargate)
The Amazing Race, my favorite reality show

I'm also looking forward to the return of LOST and Eli Stone.

I loved the original British Life On Mars. As with The Office I only hope they do as good or better. If they stick to the original theme it's great fun.

Numb3rs - favorite show right now.

CSI - Sarah is gone, Warrick is dead and Grissom is leaving. Been a favorite of mine since its opening season.

Bizarre Foods - that guy eats some nasty stuff. Sauteed fruit bat

I wonder if he would eat a schit sandwich.

    I'd bet he would.

I really have no time for tv, but I like How it's made, Dirty Jobs, Wrecked, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Chopper (it's very old, but, I like some of their designs for bikes), Ice Truckers (I am semi-involved in the trucking industry, and know how bad it can get), American Hot-Rod (R.I.P. Boyd Coddington, it's no longer on tv, but it was my fav show. I love hotrods).
Soup (E!) is sort of funny at times.
