Brockers, Cox, Barron, Upshaw, Ingram and rest of standard top 20 gone already

1 (27) Kirkpatrick or Jenkins (CB)
1 (31) Mercilus (DE/OLB)
2 (48) Harrison Smith (S)
2 (62) Shea McClellin (OLB)

I think I'd probably cream hard if we came out with that

I have a bad feeling about Mercilus, I think he's got bust written all over him...

My current group is :

1a) Reyes
1b) Chandler Jones
2a) Harrison Smith
2b) Bobby Wagner (I could be talked into alternate LB, I just put him in as he's moving up and he fits what I'm looking for)
3) Bruce Irvin
4) Marvin Jones

And, no, I am not happy with the list.

Regarding the OP, I don't see Kirkpatrick or McClellin being realistic where you took them and I don't want Jenkins unless he blew Belichick away in interviews.

No way do the Pats make two picks in the first round. #27 or #31 gets traded for a 2nd and 5th and 6th round pick. We make 1 pick in the first, 2 in the second, trade our third 2nd round pick for a 2nd next year and a 3rd this year. Make a pick in the 3rd and trade the second third round pick for a 3rd next year and a 4th this year. We take 2 players in the 4th round, 1 player in the 5th, and 6th rounds.

1A). DE/OLB Upshaw, Branch, or Mercilus the pass rush is finally addressed.
1B). S Harrison Smith I doubt that he will last until 2A.
2A). DE/DT Reyes very good chance that he will be there.
2B). CB Dennard or Minnifield one of them will still be available.

Going by current rankings I would go:

1a) D. Hightower LB Alabama

1b) L. David (Safety conversion) Nebraska

2a) V. Curry OLB Marshall

2b) B. Jones C Georgia

1a) Jenkins-I'm not as concerned with his character issues as others may be. A bit small, but has the skills we need as a cover corner.

1b) Nick Perry-We need a guy who can turn the corner and get after the QB. Perry apparently has excellent athleticism and natural bend-I'll take it.

2a) Vinny Curry-A lot of his abilities have been questioned, but I believe in his production. We need pressure. This guy is worth it at 48.

2b) Shea McClellin-A board favorite who has the Patriots' intangibles. More guys with great character and all around ability couldn't hurt.

3) Phillip Blake-Mountain of a man who would be a moldable center for the future.

4) Baguette-Has the physical skills and confidence we need.

I double and triple dipped on this draft, but the more picks you have, the better chance that some of them will stick. Getting after the QB is of prime importance. We have to get playmakers on this defense up front.

4) Baguette-Has the physical skills and confidence we need.

I suppose the baguette might be useful in sub packages.

I think this is more or less what I see as well, but one thing I don't agree with is Kellen Moore. I love him as a QB and think he's an ideal backup, but he has no place on a team that already has 3 quarterbacks. Unless you see Hoyer or Mallett being traded, it's not happening.

That and I'll be pretty angry if there is no OL taken before the 5th round.

The draft is pretty deep at OL, and he is coming off some injuries so I think he would be good value and be a good developmental OG/C, could even stash him on the PUP list to save a roster spot and develop him for the future. I see Hoyer getting traded, could be at the draft if a team that needs a QB sees it's options slide past, or could be during the season to a team that gets an injury or suffers from poor play. Hoyer will not resign with the Pats next year, so it will be good to look for next years QB3 behind Mallet.

1a traded for 2nd and 2013 1st
1b traded for 2nd 3rd 6th and 7th round picks
2a Amini Silatolu G/C
2b Harrison Smith S
2c Shea Mcclellin DE/OLB
2d Brandon Thompson DE/DT
3a Bryan Quick

7th Dale Moss

If we could unload one of our players for a 4th and scoop up Nate Potter, in addition to everyone else I want, I'd be ecstatic.

I don't see a trade of a 1st rd pick for a 2nd 3rd and 6th. I see it as a 2nd this year and 2nd next year.
We will make one of the two 1st round picks.
I could see us taking Harrison Smith
