I was thinking about the Oakland Raiders team in 2002 that went to the Super Bowl. Never had I ever recalled a team having such an absurd amount of starters in their late 30’s:

QB: 37 year old QB Rich Gannon

RB: 30 year old RB’s Charlie Garner and Tyrone Wheatley

WR: 40 year old Jerry Rice and 36 year old Tim Brown

DL: 37 year old Trace Armstrong and 33 year old John Parella

LB: 36 year old Bill Romanowski

DB: 37 year old Rod Woodson

Has there ever been another team that was old to this extent? I remember some Redskins teams piling up old players back in the late 90’s. Is there a statistically recorded oldest team ever?

Maybe you can tell that I’m kinda bored right now

Seems pretty old to me.

That was the Super Bowl that Jerry Rice lost. Ergo, Michael Irvin is the GOAT. 3-0 > 3-1.

That was the Super Bowl Bill Callahan lost because he used the same audibles that Gruden's team had used the year before when Gruden coached the Raiders. Tampa knew what the plays were before they were run which explained all the interceptions by TB....allegedly..

A lot of grey hair in that group.

Then again look at me...:)
