Trades, Street Signees & Options at RB

I'm really just not that worried. If the RB group gets even more injured than it was last week, I'll worry, but that's also such a disaster scenario that it's not rational to plan around.

We already have everyone back and demonstrated that the running game was fine in the interim. Signing Le'Veon Bell or someone like him is reserved for teams even more desperate than this one has been at any point in 2021.
Stevenson had a head injury last week. LUCKILY, he was able to play (with no practice). If he had the relatively "normal" couple of a couple weeks out, we would have been down to Bolden and JJ.

But no reason to worry, we would have no trouble against Cleveland with Bolden and JJ. ???
=============
MY BOTTOM LINE
1) At this point, JJ is a backup at best. That is NOT a knock on him. He is inexpensive and valuable as an emergency backup RB and returner.
2) Even when Harris comes back, we should have more insurance against injury, at least on the Practice Squad.

This is a dumb discussion. How often does an NFL team go 4 deep with legit starting caliber RBs? Very, very rarely.

Name a vet running back who is available who doesn’t currently suck. I’ll wait.

Name a team with a better RB situation than the Pats crew. I’ll wait.

Trade for Marlon Mack.
We should of resigned Patterson.
He would help this team immensely.

Patterson left 3 years ago and you are saying this now?

He was a free agent this season.
We spoke to him reportedly but didn't sign him.
So yes we should of RE signed him since we had him before.
He is a monster when he is moving.
Patterson signed for what 3 mill and we have Agholar like 15.

The Patriots were deep at RB, and weak at WR. And I don’t remember much of any protest when Patterson left. It’s easy to say they should have signed him when he’s having a great season, and again I don’t remember you or anyone else saying this during free agency.
