We as patsfans all know and love Tom Brady but some I am sure did not know that his debut as a Patriot did NOT start when Drew Bledsoe went down on that Mo Lewis hit in 2001 - Tom's debut as a QB in a regular season game came in 2000.

Question is ......

In 2000 Brady had his professional debut as QB of the Patriots albeit it Tom only threw 1 out of 3 pass attempts for 6 Yards

During his short debut ,What team did he appear against and what was the final score? ............The Answer to follow tomorrow

If anyone can answer the receiver who caught that 6 yard pass it would be appreciated.

and once again ........

PLEASE NO CHEATING OR LOOKING UP THE ANSWER IN A REFERENCE BOOK!!!

It was in Dallas wasn't it? And he looked God awful.

Rod Rutledge on thanksgiving day 2000 against the Charlie Batch Lions

It was against the Lions and I think the score was 49-6.

Now im not looking, so Im taking a guess 34-10, I do remember Bledsoe getting a 97 Int returned on him in that game..

I type this without doing any lookups or thread-peeking.

I do not recall the final score, but it was an ugly blowout, and Tom came in at the end as a "relief pitcher". It seems to me he had something like three pass attempts (edit: no, I didn't see that in the OP, having only skimmed, so I give myself a gold star), or maybe he did some handing off. Anyway, it was the Thanksgiving game against Detroit. Little did we know...

Just to be in the running, I'll just pull a number out of my Tomlinson and say 38-7.

That was his SECOND appearance at the Pontiac Silverdome that year. In pre-season, a bald Tommy led the Pats to a last minute win against the Lions at the Silverdome in the infamous "Chris Floyd Game."

That game sucked. I took a lot of crap for that and remember having 34-9 placed as my desktop wallpaper. 34-9.

I'm a Patriot fan. If no cheating is allowed, I'm not interested.

Detroit. Can't tell you the score though, but I recall we got blasted early. Edit: I'm going to guess 27-9.

We have winners in the trivia Question I presented...

Thanksgiving Day Game in 2000 in Detroit

Brady debuts in garbage time and goes 1 for 3 for 6 yards

Final Score was 34-9

Detroit waxed Bledsoes arse and ran away with the game against a poor Patriots squad who no one could have envisioned would win the SB the next season!

If no one who answered correctly cheated then congrats on knowing your Patriots stuff!,If you did then shame on you

What an awful Thanksgiving Day - I begged my ex's parents to turn the game on during dinner only to see my team get beat so bad they had to put the backup in

it was against the colts, and I was there, can't remember the score but law picked one off and had a spectacular return for a td right in front of me as I was in the southwest endzone. probably the 4th pats game I'd ever gone too
