Marketing wise, it wouldn't make sense for Kraft to ditch Pat the Patriot. I don't think he'd sell as much Pat the Patriot stuff if they didn't wear the uniforms once in a while. Not to mention the throwbacks are badass anyways. I don't think that the patriots of old sucking in those uniforms is a reason not to wear them. I'd love it if we got a road game with the white on white or white on red once a season as well to go along with the home reds.
