Yet, you are here? Are you trying to persuade or trolling? Let's go for how many dislikes you can get.I have stopped watching the NFL. It's hard to root for any team or player in the club.

I think you hear what you want to hear. The 'badness' is about character. It's about the character of a has been QB who lacks the grace to walk away a champion. It's about the character of an owner who is more of a fan than a manager. It's about the character of an owner whose 'off field' behavior reflects badly on the team. It's about the character of a team that relentlessly bends the rules. It's about the character of a team that tolerates -- supports -- the disrespectful behavior of players. In the last decade, this team has embraced criminals and unpatriotic employees. Shameful for a team that calls itself The Patriots.
Robert Kraft needs to step down. The team has to move on from Brady. If Coach is responsible for all of the scandals and the hiring of all the toxic players, then we need to move on from Belichick as well.
I don't like this team. I have watched three games in two years after not missing a game for four decades. I would rather root for a team of likable guys who don't quite get there than for a bunch of players that I don't like. The New England Patriots are a bunch of players I don't like.
please log outRight. I cannot remember a time before I was a Pats fan. I can not imagine tuning into a game again unless things change a lot -- with the franchise and the league. I find both repulsive. If you can get excited about the lot of people who call themselves New England Patriots, good for you. I find them repulsive.

Yeah, can't believe they let Tanny **** all over them to the tune of 72 yards. Can't believe they gave up 13 points in a playoff game. The defense was awesome vs bad quarterbacks and gave up plenty of points to Watson and Jackson and couldn't stop RYAN Fitzpatrick at home w a bye on the line and couldn't stop RYAN Tannehill with the season on the line. I'll take a HARD PASS on the "awesome" Defense...they were ineffective against Jag quarterbacks in the most important situations when it mattered most

Perhaps, I should have said top 5.

IMO, the 2019 defense was much better than "pretty good". I would have had one additional "biggie" DL, and said so at the time. Belichick chose to go with Shelton, Guy, Butler and Cowart inside. I do believe the secondary was arguably the best in the NFL. Various stats (and my own eyes) certainly showed that be true. Van Noy/Hightower/Collins/Winovich weren't the very best, but they were very, very good.
Clearly, Belichick traded allowing a bit of run offense for being being completely shut down as far as the secondary.
So, maybe top 5 doesn't qualify as "awesome". I'll stop back and just say that we need to re-sign McCourty and Shelton, and we will no worries about the defense. And yes, we can always get better. We will need to add a LB, and I would still like another biggie on the DL in addition to Shelton (or his replacement).
