The Official: I don't get the Karma thread, thread

I didn't want ot post this on the Karma thread so I wouldn't screw up whatever it is that they are doing there.

But, I don't get it! Here is what I have always thought Karma was.

What they are doing on that thread seems reverse Karma? As far as I knew there was only good or bad Karma, if you believed in Karma at all. Right?

What am I missing here?

It didn't upset me in the slightest. Just trying to understand what it's about.

But, maybe it's too deep for me to understand. Now, when I took a leak in the woods at the golf coarse, and found a ball with a Patriots logo and 3X World Champions, was that Karma?

Or, was it just peeing in the right palce at the right time?

Probably they were just thinking of an anit-jinx, or say the opposite of what they hoped will happen, or even an entropy thread (scientific principle of entropy: in order to increase stability at one location in the universe, you must increase chaos elsewhere).

Whatever, I always enjoy the "we're doomed" stuff.

If I recall correctly, the "we're doomed" stuff started in '02 when trolls started coming here telling us the Pats were not that good and were just lucky, etc. Some here started responding with, " You're right, we suck, we're doomed", and it caught on for a while.

When Mo met Drew, there were some that started with the "we're doomed" for real. That was quickly quelled.

Seriously though, that was not Karma -- that was an example of synchronicity.
