For anyone that has HBO, I would highly recommend this show. It got 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's an 8 part mini-series chronicling a Pakistani college student that got mixed up with a girl one night, a stranger who only told him she "couldn't be alone". Anyway, one thing leads to another, they have sex, and he wakes up to her murdered. The cops apprehend him and he's the primary suspect. It's an 8 part mini-series starring John Turturro (who is, as always, fantastic). I'm two episodes in and was absolutely hooked after the first one. I would definitely call it a must watch.

Tattoos and now drugs? Beginning to wonder if this is about the prison system turning innocent people into criminals..or is it? I WANT ANSWERS

    2 episodes to go

This is by far the best show HBO has had since True Detective Season 1. Has that same feel to it with how it's shot ect. Love this show

You know what though..this show proved you don't need a series for 3-4 years. Ends on a high note and they are out..sucks but it was a fantastic show.

Look at True Detective. 1st season was one of the greatest shows/seasons of all time. Season 2 was awful.

    I really enjoyed it ...
Financial dude was my #2 suspect ... I was close.
Thought it was odd how easily he tried to sell out Andrea's father.

Wasn't it the accountant guy the lead detective talked to at the casino?

I finally got around to this. I generally try to wait for the season/series to end so I can binge watch if necessary.

It was really quite good. The show resisted a lot of the temptations to get preachy or melodramatic in trying to make some point, and stuck to just telling a pretty good story. It also didn't offer easy outs for anyone. The first couple episodes, I was really taken aback by the shoddy detective work and was glad to see it called out at the trial later on. Even Box himself realized that he didn't do his due diligence.

It ended on a good note and one that I think was spot on for Naz's character. He didn't become some arch criminal like I was worried he might, but he carries some of the after effects of prison. The scene of him by the river, remembering her, was really good. It added a human element to it, the kind that made this show a bit more unique than the usual police procedural.

    Really well done.

Yep, that was Box putting him on notice that he was on to him.
