The Menu Search

It seems like lately the menu search doesn't go back very far where it did in the past. Maybe I am doing it wrong or an indexing thing ?

Needs to be reindexed. Takes about 3-4hrs to run but I’ll try and do that later tonight.

Search is working again....thanks! I know in MS SQL you can create a scheduled job to index but I'm sure that's not what's used here. Maybe MySQL? That might as well but not sure.

Yes, ran it yesterday and re-indexed everything. It indexes all the time with each new thread, post, etc. However, the problem seems to be that the table locks every once in a while when the backup is running, which is apparently the issue. I don't get a notification when that happens, so I don't spot it until it's obviously not working.
