Sergio Brown's Mouth Digs a Hole Deeper Today

I really enjoy the fact that players in the NFL seem to believe that 'holding' Gronk to 4 catches for 77 yards and a TD is a good thing. For literally any other TE in the league, that would be considered a very good day, even without the dominant run-blocking performance that Gronk put on.

What the hell are you guys talking about?

"Putting the straps" on Gronk means that he locked him down (supposedly). In other words, he didn't allow him to have a productive game.

I've read every single tweet on the matter, removed or otherwise--and NONE of them even come remotely close to mentioning his arm in any manner.

Sergio Brown acting like a douche is one thing, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that he was speaking of Gronkowski's past injury, let alone taking credit for it. Here are all of the deleted tweets: http://blog.masslive.com/patriots/2014/11/sergio_brown_goes_on_twitter_r.html

My understanding is that one of the reason's Gronk reacted the way he did was because Brown was running his mouth and Brown had smack-talked Gronk about the fact that it was Brown who "broke" Gronk's arm 2 years ago.. Don't know if it is true.

What I DO know is that after the play, when they were showing Gronkowski on the sideline, Gronk's mouth was bloody. I immediately said that Gronk had been punched in the mouth and that's what it looked like..

Sergio Brown was the worst player on our worst ever defense, and he still sucks. Why is he talking again?

I thought that stupidity was the primary job requirement for the major metro newspaper.. Can't have smart people who think for themselves working there. How could they get their agenda published otherwise..
Eh. There are good writers working at both papers. I mean, the Globe had Reiss and then followed him up with Bedard. They just blew it big time with Volin.
It's true that the quality has declined over time as the papers have become increasing irrelevant and ESPN has become the goto destination for any of the higher profile writers.

Roc - your funny meter isn't working today.. I wasn't being serious..

I stole this from someone else, who probably stole this from someone else, who probably stole this from someone else.

Wasn't Sergio Brown the guy we had who was getting TORCHED every week and making our pass D look horrible in 10 and 11?

Isn't Brown the guy who Sanchez used to pick on all the time? Can we not find several google images of #38 getting tossed around by average Jets players? How the hell is he claiming lock down?

I was so happy when we got rid of him, yet I still wish more bad on him.

Yup.

Reiss and Bedard both graduated to internet jobs.

That should pretty much say everything you need to know about newspapers in the 21st century.
