Mmmmmmm, let's see, Brady's contract runs thru 2010 and ummm, oh ya, there's talk of an uncapped year in, yes, 2010. Let's have Terry Glenn do the math for us.

Now maybe after watching this kid and analyzing what he had to work with and talking to him about what he wishes he could do they feel he has what it takes to be a disciplined pocket passer who can use his natural athletic ability to makes things happen but only when it's called for or as a last best resort.

Well, we'd better hope they feel that way, since they went to the trouble of scouting all of his games last season. . . .

My Opinion is that Matt Cassel has NOT shown improvement at the rate BB and company like. I beleive Matt Guttierez accually played more last year and has leaped over Cassel.
Having said that like Mr Kraft pointed out O Connel is good insurance.

O'Connel was drafted to be developed into Brady's Back-up
If it leads to more then great.

Cassel needs to have a breakout pre-season.
If he does he may attract trades
If he doesn't he will be cut
If he shows enough but does not draw interest from other teams we will keep all 4 QBs
O'Connel may end up on the PUP or IR list
