Scouting Report: Marcus Davenport, DE/LB

Big fan and finishing my eval as we speak. I hear you on time and the process of doing this. Sometimes when I get out of work I want to drop to the ground where Im standing and just sleep. Its noy easy with regular life. Good work!

Def P-TP. Has the look, tools and does a lot of community work. Oh and he's only 21 I believe.

My biggest question is can he play and be effective from a true DE tech? Makes sense to keep him clean out wide and standing up but can he progress into something more.

Only 21 and the tools he already has, I'm buying in.

Gil Brandt is also very high on him. He's drafted a few good ones.:)
I'd like to see a pct. breakdown of how many times our RDE/EDGE/Elephant
is in a 4pt stance vs standing up. Seems, they stand up more no?
Also, I like T. Flowers at LDE because he's so sound technically. And,
can play the run well.

Where do you see him going in the draft? I never know with toolsy guys

Brandt thinks 2nd with a chance to move up with good workouts.

Hes a top

He has "tools" but wins with effort and motor a lot.

If you draft him in the 1st with intentions of immediate starter you'll be unhappy.

If you draft him with the idea he'll be a pass rushing specialist, contributer and future starter your doing it right.
