I am glad Curt said this, because it truly shows how much many affected the team the first half of this season, poor Francona must have been losing his mind each day since he had to deal with this.

I say he writes a book and then runs for office somewhere...

I don't agree with him much politically, but I love how he has gone out of his way to find new ways to communicate with the fans. I read his blog frequently and find it very informative.

as much as i hate Curt as a person, he is speaking the truth...but i wish he would just shut up. Every now and then when things are quiet, he appears and speaks out on something. We do npt care about Manny anymore, why bring it up now?

I think Schilling is speaking the truth.. unfortunately, it's coming from Schilling.. Count me among the many who think he is full of self-importance and loves to hear himself talk and the attention that comes with it. His message is lost on those who cringe when they hear Curt open his mouth.. If this came from anyone else on the Red Sox- even the friggin' ball boy- it would have more impact. I'm sure there is a ton of stuff about Manny that the fans don't know.. nothing would surprise me at this point..
