this move has nothing to do with coco. its has everything to do with jd drew being hurt. coco isnt going anywhere . thats a good thing. i like coco.

Would love to see Coco go ... pretty boy is only good in the field and stealing bases.

Can anyone describe how Cocoa scored from second on an infield single to third? I just read that in today's paper.

the ball was hit to arod and it hit the bag first. he had to cross the third base line to catch the ball. third base coach anticipated arod would throw the ball to first base so he waived coco on to home. he never stopped running from second base when the ball was hit.

Thanks. By any chance, did you see Ellsbury score from second on a pass ball (last year), that one always amazed me and would like to get some discription on how he did that.

I hate that we gave up a bat for a guy we barely need.

http://www.soxprospects.com/players/sumoza-luis.htm

Scouting Report: Athletic and well-built, Sumoza signed for a big bonus out of Venezuela in mid-2004. Gifted athlete, still very raw, hows the potential to be a five-tool player, but needs a lot of refinement. High power potential. Above average speed.

They changed it to giving up him, but Kotsay is a great defender, has a solid bat, and we needed someone else after Drew got hurt.

thats good. i would rather give up a position player. its a lot easier to replace position players unlike pitching.

If we keep Bay and of course Jacoby ... Lars will be here in a few years ... outfielders don't have the opportuinity that pitchers do that's for sure.

Theo is brilliant at snagging solid vets like Lowell, Drew, Coco, Bay, Byrd, and now Kotsay. They may not be superstars like A-Fraud, but they know how to win. Now if Beckett gets well, and the pen holds up, I like our chances.
