I thought Patterson had replaced Dola?
He replaced Dion Lewis.

Dorsey and BB has swung deals before. Are there any decision makers left with the Browns after today?
Whats your point ? That Dorsett faced better CBs while Dola usually got the #2 or more often the #3s ?
What I don't get about this entire discussion is why even compare Dorsett and Dola. They are completely different players and were used in absolutely separate roles.
Dorsett has been used most of the time much closer to what Mitchell was giving the Pats around the sideline.
Dorsett was "supposed to be the top receiver" according to whom? And, for that matter, wtf defines "the top receiver"? Furthermore, why is it necessary to impose an artificial hierarchy on any of this, since it doesn't actually reflect what happens in real life?
.
I was just replying to a post about someone saying Dorsett was a better receiver than Amendola. During the earlier games he and Hogan were our top wr targets. He’s a good wr it’s just that we have two others that are above him. I’m glad we have him but he’s not amendola, not yet. Amendola was so clutch and converted crucial 3rd down consistently. Earlier in the season we went 3 and out too often.
