Do people forget we literally signed James Harrison last year?
Is that 2 women beaters on the Redskins now?
This is really bizarre that the 'Skins would claim a guy who probably will get kicked out of the league.
He's been arrested so many times within the last year. I'd be shocked if he's not at least suspended for at least a year. He makes the league look really bad. And why would any team want to take on that risk? Why would he get kicked out of the league over a misdemeanor?

Because he's a talent that might help their team.
And, if memory serves, he's been arrested twice this year, this being the second, so I'm not sure where you're going with the "so many times...." angle.
When I heard he was claimed, I was praying we didn't claim him. Thank god, but he shouldn't have been claimed and shouldn't even be allowed near an NFL stadium!

Three arrests in 11 months for charges ranging from drugs to weapons to bodily harm, including a felony, would constitute "many" to me. But, that's just me.Nope your memory doesn't serve you.
Foster was arrested for a misdemeanor Marijuana charge in January.
He was arrested in February for Felony DV, Weapons charges, and intent to inflict bodily harm. The DV and Intent charges were dismissed. However, the weapons charges were not.
His 3rd arrest was for misdemeanor DV charges which led to his dismissal from the 49ers.

Redskins senior VP of player personnel Doug Williams released a statement on Foster saying the team "fully [understands] the severity of the recent allegations made against Reuben."
"If true, you can be sure these allegations are nothing our organization would ever condone," Williams said. "Let me be clear, Reuben will have to go through numerous steps including the full legal process, an investigation and potential discipline from the NFL, as well as meetings with counselors associated with the team before he will ever have the opportunity to wear the Burgundy and Gold as a player."
