Sure would love to have him here. He's the best pitcher in the AL. Has been for awhile now.

But Toronto would want some young guys. We should keep Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, and Papelbon.

i would only consider this deal if a long term contract could be worked out. i don't want to give up buchholz boden ect ect for a year and a half rental. and enough with the lets give the jays lugo and konttares bull sh!t. why on earth would the jays do that? Toronto has zero interest in them or with smoltz penny. if the jays are going to trade one of the best pitchers in baseball that means they are re tooling . they are not looking for older guys to help in a pennant race or some bum like lugo the lugi. its going to take at least two of the redsox best prospects to get a deal done with the jays for halladay.
