He's just getting some work in. He hasn't pitched in a few days and the NYY have an off day Monday so they don't want him sitting around too long. Expect to see him tomorrow.

What to make of game 2. I just don't know with this Red Sox line-up anymore. After some of the pathetic efforts of the last month and a half to today, what do you do!

Now being one of the people a week ago saying they have no shot at the playoffs, the Red Sox always like to prove me wrong. Hey with Beckett pitching tonight we have a good shot. The question is: Can they beat Tampa Bay?

Tampa Bay has always given us fits, so you have to say no until we can prove otherwise. A healthy Wake is huge though, as Brad Penny can't get anyone else. I would be confident with a Beckett/Lester/Wake/Buchholz in a 4 game series against TB, it would be competitive.
