"You want front 7 speed." Agreed.

The goal of "front 7 speed" is not established to begin and end with QB sacks, in my estimation.

A sack is like icing on the cake. Getting in the QB's face and disrupting his game though, forcing him to go out of his comfort zone often enough will yield the results you want.
The way the Pats used to mess with Peyton- he got sacked a few times but it was the constant pressure that had him so frustrated and riled up that it was tough for his offense and him to recover and get into a rhythm again.
