Back already with an opening weekend to forget for both Merseyside clubs, Everton getting smashed 1-6 and Liverpool going down to an average 2-1 defeat at Spurs. Man U and Chelsea both win beating Birmingham and Hull.

Tuesday saw Chelsea come from behind to beat Sunderland and a great night for Liverpool fans on wednesday which saw Liverpool beat Stoke 4-0, new boy Glenn Johson scoring on his home debut and Man United crash to a shock 1-0 defeat at Burnley.

Yesterday's game saw Man U demolish Wigan 0-5 and Arsenal beat a pathetic Portsmouth side 4-1.

Barclays Premier League

Arsenal 4-1 Portsmouth
Birmingham 0-0 Stoke
Hull 1-0 Bolton
Man City 1-0 Wolverhampton
Sunderland 2-1 Blackburn
Wigan 0-5 Man Utd

Makes me sick to see the little dwarf Owen scoring for Utd. Hopefully he does another Newcastle this year. I'd love him to go on a long and embarrassing scoring drought.

His celebration proved what Owen is. He was never really "one of us" when he was at Liverpool and his colours have shown why since he's left. Michael cares about Michael and thats it.
