Space is inexplicably vast and unbelievably fascinating.

I marvel at the fact most humans are so unintelligent, yet others are able to find ways to (literally) reach for the stars.

question for the scientists. Because black holes curve space they literally can "sling shot" the light from a star or a galaxy around it just like a space ship can use the moon to sling shot around it.

if that is true, and there are deep space black holes everywhere.. isn't theoretically possible we could be seeing the same galaxy more than once in the deep deep night sky?

in other words a galaxy is between us, and a distant black hole... we observe its light the first time directly..the light comes at us..;.. BUT

the light also travels in all directions... away and toward.. at some perfect angle it goes near enough to a more distant black hole and "loops around it" .. it is not close enough to get sucked in, but loops around it. Since the possibilities are infinite one black hole redirects that same galaxy or distant object directly back to the earth but from a different angle and at least theoretically we see the same distant galaxy, TWICE in our observation from planet earth?

    No?
