These threads always reveal the depths of delusion that Patriots fans toil under having been fortunate to watch the greatest quarterback of all-time play for 15 years. Yes, Philip Rivers is a great quarterback. No, Super Bowl rings are not the arbiter of greatness. You would think the only good quarterback in NFL history was Tom Brady from some of these replies.
The stupidity to me is the endless need to stipulate an unprovable notion that QB A would have accomplished X if circumstances Z and Y were switched. Why can't we just say Rivers is a great QB without trying to minimize Brady's accomplishments or insinuating that Brady's accomplishments are only possible because of BB. It's getting old and lame imo.
