patsfan Ken

It was 3am Monday morning. He had about ten pages written, and for some reason he hadn't saved any of his work to the cloud but was typing it all to an open window at patsfans.com so if anything went wrong, all his work would be lost. But it was gold, I tell you. GOLD!!!

Suddenly, thunder strikes out of nowhere. A cat ran across the keyboard, closing his browser; at the same time, his wife throws a frying pan at the dog for jumping on the bed, it hits an exposed water pipe in the ceiling, causing the water pipe to burst, frying the electronics in his laptop! It's gone!!!! Yet another gem lost. Tears. Gnashing of teeth.

Ergo, we have lost another weekday pleasure, and need to buy @patfanken a new laptop with a google drive account.

(Seriously, though, he said a few seasons ago that he wasn't going to post every week: the posts take a lot of time, and they will come when they come so look at them as surprise gifts from above, a privilege not a right.)

Where are you Ken? I specifically come to the board after each game looking for your idol thoughts.
Sorry about that. After the Buffalo game, I started one but it was so late I after the night game (I that those) I only got started when sleep caught up with me. I planned to finish it on Monday. But it wasn't until Monday evening that I could get to it AND when I read some of the post game talk, I realized that there wasn't much I could add, so I passed.

THIS week was pretty much the same, but mostly it was because I was lazy. Sorry again and I'll try to do better next time.

We're going to cut your football analysis salary from nothing to nothing!

Just kidding, but thanks for all of your free in-depth analysis, and you are entitled to time off!

I agreed for the thanks. Disagree about the salary cut, heck I’d even favor giving a 50% bonus.

Thanks for your kind remarks.....at the end of your post.

It is still painful losing that post. I was LITERALLY on the last sentence when it happened. I wish I could explain what happened, One second for SOME reason my post was highlighted and the next my thumb hit the space key......and it was gone. OUCH! I'm better now. I only wince when I think about it. ;)

No worries and glad you're ok. Was a bit concerned you might be putting in long hours at the casino.

No I limit my poker days to once or twice a week. But I've been successfully dodging Covid for 2 years now and that place is the epitome of a. germ factory, so I think I'm going to be going a lot less until this new outbreak starts to die down,

@patfanken.....seriously , dont take the loss too bad there are a lot of us that look forward to your comments/analysis. I look forward to the next one

It was the Jags man....not much to say after a 50-10 victory....

I sent him a Venmo request for $50 for wasting our time by not posting anything.

We've got you fixed up now with the "undo" function in the "reply" box, right?

Google docs is my go to now for anything over a paragraph, for any purpose. Completely idiot proof, which meets my requirements.
100% agree. Logs every keystroke, keeps multiple versions of each edit, I couldn't live without it.

I suspect the fault might lay in your keyboard. Try investing in a solid mechanical keyboard that requires more pressure to actuate the buttons. I would recommend Cherry Blue switches if you like tactile feedback with a 'clicky' sound or Cherry Brown if you want less noise but still some feedback to confirm your button presses.

Here's a good article testing and comparing the best mechanical keyboard contenders of 2022:
The Best Mechanical Keyboards for 2022 | PCMag

I rock the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum with Brown switches myself, but I'm sure any of those contenders will do you justice for your typing pleasure. Hopefully this helps you out!

PatsFans starts "Go fund me" for patfanken getting him new equipment and a full-time stenographer that takes dictation resolving him of ever having to type his famous posts ever again.

His after game analysis is great, I think we should give him a raise from nothing to more nothing.
Hope you do one after this game summing up the regular season Ken.
