The managing director of NFL UK is on our live telecast this evening, and he just stated more or less without reservation that the Patriots will not be either of the teams to play in UK in 2008.

They are being looked at very seriously for future games, although he intimated that they would likely be a road team in any game overseas.
 
That stinks




in a selfish kind of way

It was never going to be 2008 because of the road games on the west coast. But it really sounds as if we'll see them in Europe at some stage.
