Evened the score

Pats are on fire right now!

And people still wonder why Tom left.

Had 2 tackles in 23 snaps against the Pats in Super Bowl 52 when he was on the Eagles.

Played 23 D snaps vs us in the SB when he was with Philly. 13 on STs

Here's the Danny Shelton replacement. To this point in his career, he doesn't qualify as anything more than a shell of a shell of a shell of a shell.

Minor upgrade on Shelton

Both Brady and Bellichick will want to prove something this year. Bill by bringing an average team to the playoffs without Brady and Brady by getting there without Bill.

The moneys the same why not just sign Shelton?
I’m not excited about this signing
Shelton had 2 years in the system and wasn’t getting any better. Pats figured they’d take a chance on someone else who could improve (or could outright stink).

PFF 36/199 among DTs. 34th in run defense. Shelton was 42/199 & 7th in run D.

Hopefully a more consistent player than Shelton & 2017 Branch.

Going to need a good run stuffer to stop teams from running the clock out in the 3rd and 4th with a 3 TD lead.

Good depth piece.

Which naturally means we’ll enforce him as a starter.

I can't hate the signing of any DT whose nickname is "Fat Thor".

Don't know anything about him.
