Great draft site, loads of information. Here's what they said about the Pats 2005 class:
The Patriots had a quality draft. They raised some eyebrows with the selection of Fresno State offensive lineman Logan Mankins in the first round, but he's a good football player. Mankins has blue-collar toughness and the temperament to fit naturally in New England.
Toledo offensive lineman Nick Kaczur was another solid pickup. Kaczur flashes good pop with his hands and is technically sound. Kaczur could eventually compete for a starting spot at guard or right tackle.
Their underrated pick was Iowa State's Ellis Hobbs in the third round. Hobbs is small, but possesses tremendous instincts and competitiveness. He'll push for playing time this season.
Pretty much right on the money with their analysis.
