He impaled the guy twice through the chest! There's no friggen way he wouldn't be finished in a non-fantasy world.
The show kind of jumped the shark after that.

You’re complaining that a show about a made up place with dragons and an army of zombies wasn’t realistic enough.

I can only suspend disbelief so far. . . He was impaled through the chest . . . with a spear . . . twice. He's not picking up a fully grown man with one hand and punching out his teeth with the other after that.

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons (yes I cut and pasted) gave birth to her dragons by walking into a fire in season 1, ending any possibility of this being reality based. There was no shark jumping when The Mountain killed The Viper.

I'd have gone with Season One Episode One's cold open with dead Wildlings coming back to 'life' but yeah, same thought.

I really wanted to roll out Dany's titles. I even thought about going with bold typeface on mother of dragons to further accentuate my point.

Good stuff :D I can't wait for Sunday.

My favorite is The Spoils of War, S7E4. The Battle of Goldroad is amazing. That was feature film stuff, with Drogon destroying the Lannisters. Epic.

That one was great too. So much wonderful death and destruction to choose from.

What make you think he's was vain? I don't remember anything in my rewatch or from the books that makes him seem particularly vain.

Dude was just smooth, confident and rich. Oh and morally flexible when it comes to who you bang.

The Ten Best Episodes In 'Game of Thrones' History, According To IMDB Ratings

You will notice a few patterns here. No episodes from season 1 made the cut, the famous Ned Stark episode was barely outside the top ten. The show seems to have two quality peaks, with the list containing three season 3 and three season 6 episodes, though the season 6 episodes are higher overall, and exist in an era where we’ve gone past the books, which is interesting. Season 2, Season 5 and the somewhat disliked season 7 have one episode on the board apiece.

Anytime a Lannister force gets roasted is a good time. It did however point out once again Daenerys' Targaryen tendencies. Winter is here, there's a kingdom to feed and yet she laid waste to (according to Jamie) a 1000 wagons worth of supplies rather than just targeting the first and last few wagons. Temper, temper...

Just turned on the tv to watch the Masters. They aren’t showing live coverage yet, and it looks like this is the wrong channel. The entire telecast is focused on a washed up dirty old man who has more horribly embarrassing divorces than major wins since 2008.

Did anyone else completely lose interest in this guy like eight years ago? Does the audience really tune in to watch this same tired narrative about his chance for redemption? Apparently if you win the tournament, you gain back your public morality badge?

I like to watch majors, but I’m not a fan of the 24/7 reality show camera pointed at his face at all times.

I will watch on Sunday, and that will be it. The guys at work watch golf regularly, and they always talk about Tiger. The love shown him is much like Lebron or Peyton. Whatever. I am sure they all want to be the guy that says "SEE??" when he comes back and wins in his late 40's like Jack Nicklaus did.

Masters Sunday is my favorite nap of the year. And I have been saying that long before PMT.
