Many of you won't recall her name, but
Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan dies
Holy crap. That sucks. No Need To Argue was outstanding.
Loved the song "Linger." She had a beautiful voice.
Had a huge crush on her back when. Something about her accent and the way her voice sounded always got me. What a beautifully unique voice.
Another musician from the 90’s rock era gone too soon. RIP...
Loved her voice in that song especially.
That song always made me think of that girl you were crazy about in high school. You thought you were going to be with her forever.
Song brings very fond memories of feeling sort of a beautiful emotional innocence that comes with high school relationships.
this sucks so much. some of my best concert memories are seeing the cranberries. so sad. 46 years old wtf. i saw them many times. once with collective soul at great woods aka the verizon center in mansfield. i loved her voice and the entire band. rip.
Sad to hear.. Loved Zombie.. Loved Linger..
Always liked Salvation. RIP. What a shame.
Very sad. RIP. Thoughts and prayers out to her friends and family.
This one definitely shoulda been Shula.
first album was a moment in time for me. Everything after that was different. 46 is no age. A genuine proper rock star too. She will be missed.
Always good to get the ****ty comments underway early in a thread like this.
She had a difficult last 25 years. RIP, sweetest voice of my youth.
I've long been a big fan of Irish and Irish/Celtic music, so I was thrilled when the Cranberries came onto the scene, and I was very disappointed when they split. I couldn't get into them the same when they got back together, but I still love listening to the old stuff.
In fact, tonight will be a good night to play the catalogue.
She was a favorite of our youngest daughter.....about same age..... She died young
Have loved No Need to Argue since routinely listening to it as a kid on the long drives up and back from the mountains to go learn to ski. Great, memorable sound from the Cranberries. Sad that Ms. O'Riordan has passed.
What could have happened?
Were her health issues mental or physical or both?
The Cranberries were my collegiate soundtrack.
Great voice, such a huge loss. My teen years were spent listening to the Cranberries.
Zombi is one of the greatest songs ever in my opinion.
Separate names with a comma.
