Wow. Anyone see Davey Martinez completely losing it in the baseball game? That was like a 10 minute freakout.

Exercise is great to clear your head & I'm sure it helps a little but I'd put a ton of money down on therapists > power lifting when it comes to mental health.

Of course its only bc we live in this soft-ass millennial culture.

Exercise and diet are HUGE in keeping depression at bay or overcoming it.

But guess what? The reason why Depression is so insidious is that it robs you of the strength you need to start doing those two things. It encourages you to do the things that feed it.

I'm not depressed right now and haven't been since I got a divorce and since it was due to a tangible situation I don't think I've ever dealt with a true clinical depression the things that made me feel depressed were more than just chemical imbalances. But even those experiences made me believe that the last thing I should be doing is lecturing depressed people on what they should do.

I'm sick of people who can't wait to give you a broad sweeping take on a situation based on their skin-deep understanding of something. Whether it's a Karen complaining about Starbucks changing the size of free petcinos or muscle-bound chads who want to finger wag at you for talking to someone about your problems.

Honestly? I have come to believe that, overall, social media is a net negative for our society because it empowers so many low-info people to talk as though they have any insight.

I love this time of year (Sports wise with Pats and Bruins) but man with the clock change coming up and it being dark at 4, The weather since Sunday and not seeing the sun..this entire week has me at a major blah. Very unmotivated.

I get like this a lot in the winter with less sun...less time outside ect. Seasonal depression or that blah for me is defiantly real

No it's great. It goes to the roads that are under construction for 8 years and public transportation that catches fire every other week.

I love funding things that don't work. Was actually a dream of mine as a kid.

It sounds like you may have Seasonal Affective Disorder. There is an “at-home” light that you can sit in front of, but it’s probably a few hundred bucks if not more. You may also consider taking an anti depressant or even moving. I’m sure it affects everyone on some level, though.

Post-holidays are a rough time with the cold winter and lack of light between the months of Jan-Mar.

Jesus they were stocked. So glad I never got into Sk or have a habit now. Can't imagine living that life as an adult now.
