I've got a nerd app called "Sharktivity" on my phone.

Based on GPS tracking and visual confirmation it provides alerts and history of GWs swimming around the Cape.

    Today is a busy day.

The storm Area 51 thing is obviously a joke that just really took off. But, out of the like 300k that are 'committed' some % of them will show up just for the spectacle. Probably 10-20%.

Out of that group of 30-60 there is going to be at least 1 idiot who will get lit the **** up trying to run across the gates.

But my guess is that the military, being aware of this, is going to setup non-lethal force outside of the gates and that will be the end of that.

I was just there 2 weeks ago, btw. The logistics of even 30-60 people going there are going to be interesting because the dirt road can really only fit 3 cars wide. We blew out a tire (new one) because I was in travel mode and swerved too soon.

    upload_2019-7-16_11-33-35.png

We had to get help from a guy in Caliente which is 83 miles away as my donut was underinflated. Then we drove to Oscar's Tires which is just a single-wide owned by a guy named Oscar 38 miles away. He didn't have any for us so it was either drive to Caliente, which was like 60 miles out of the way or try to make it to Vegas so I went for it driving to Vegas and ended up driving roughly 162 miles on that poor little donut. But we made it. That was also 9 hours of ordeal summarized in a few sentences. Still it makes for a better story than 'we went to Area 51' and it was a good opportunity to show my son that a real man doesn't throw a temper tantrum or meltdown when things go wrong, a real man just starts working on solving the problem.

Maybe this guy is up there looking for cooler water...

Oh, and they "need a bigger boat".

I saw that. Sharks are awesome.

The saltwater croc has a strongest bite for land animals at 3,700psi.

Great Whites are a little under 4,000psi.

At least it'd be over quickly.

I spent my life going in the ocean. Decently far out too, before the waves start forming. After seeing all the drone footage of sharks chilling around the surf, not gonna lie... I stay much closer to shore now.

Unless dolphins are around (usually in LBI). Then I go out a bit further. Dolphins kick ass.

I head down to the Cape a couple of times a year but I spend most of the summer in southern Maine. The seal population has exploded in that area.

It's a matter of time before they are up here close to shore

It will disappointing when their insatiable appetite to find aliens turns out to be one giant, yummy looking nothing burger. Conspiracies of this size do not exists; people just can't shut up about anything, so even a conspiracy of like 2-3 people is likely to break. If this involved a large government cover up, a lot of highly credible people would have spilled the beans. It's human nature.

I’m not sure about a government cover-up but I do think there is other intelligent life somewhere out there. The Department of Defense recently released some files lately about UFOs documented on the show the singer from Blink 182 is on (can’t recall his name) and what the pilots and Navy caught on camera breaks every aeronautical law known to man. The UFOs should not be able to move like they do based on what we know and they shouldn’t be able to move at the speeds they were clocked at without killing everyone/everything on-board. Pretty interesting stuff.

I used to have a shark tracker app- being in Fl, I thought it might be useful...I deleted it because it turned me into a nervous wreck every time we’d go boating, diving or snorkeling.
Weirdly enough, I guess I prefer the unknown! (Albeit, we don’t get as many great whites down here)

There were guards driving around in unmarked white trucks. They were hauling ass. They did not stop to help us with the tire (almost certainly due to orders)

There's something going on there but that something is either normal secret project testing type stuff or it's a distraction from where the real normal secret project testing type stuff happens.

You just can't convince me that the government has had contact with aliens. I believe aliens exist but I do not believe in greys and **** which are really too similar to humans to be a truly alien species born from an entirely separate evolutionary chain in entirely different environmental circumstances for me to believe they're anything but fantasy/delusion. Honestly even the concept of self, exploration, communication, etc, might be wholly-human characteristics. I just believe actual alien life to be well, truly alien.

But ok let's say we share some commonalities with some alien species out there and they just happened to the inclined towards technological advancement and exploration and communication and ALSO just happened to be close enough to us to be able to stumble upon our radio waves or whatever and came here and did visit us. How am I going to believe that the government put them into a base called Area 51 and then despite decades of conspiracy theory and pop culture references to the idea that aliens are housed there continued to maintain them there?

Just doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

I gotta tell ya...A couple of weeks ago I saw "Jaws" in the theaters (as opposed to the small screen. I saw Jaws 3D in the theaters awful) I must have seen it 100s of times.

Despite the shark being outdated, when the camera has a water level views, its freaking scary.

Have you seen "The Shallows"? Aside from Blake Lively in a bikini, that shark is freaking terrifying and real as it can get.

Not many GWs in FL but you got Bull and Tigers down there and they IMO are more aggressive towards swimmers.

The problem with the GWs up here is they are mostly adolescents (7-10ft) and still trying to figure out what their preferred food source is.

Funny because that is kind of how I pictured him...fitting in anywhere...like a character from a John Le Carre novel.
