OT: Ben Watson still pluggin' along

Always liked Watson his personality etc., but he never quite lived up to the hype for the Patriots.. more than one highlight, but he did not seem to "have it" when he played for the Pats.. then there were the injuries.

For us who have been with the Pats for a while, the abilities of Francis and Coates always tempered how I feel about what tight ends can do.. .

The Patriots have had some great TE's.

I was there, too. I flew in from China just for the game. Brady's return + throwbacks, how could I miss it? It was painful for most of the game but what an ending!

Most of what tourists see of the Great Wall had been refurbished, but from some angles the pure scale and length of the Wall is amazing to see. You can get access to some non-refurbished parts through various tours and hotels. I found that to be amazing and much cooler than the normal tourist sections.

I'm very cynical when it comes to China but I do recommend seeing the Wall. While in Beijing I recommend the imperial palace and Tianamen square as well. The pollution can be so bad that I do not recommend inhaling.

The most criminally-incompetent playoffs ever officiated, including SBLX.

Yeah, one would think that a smart, savvy, veteran who produces both in the blocking and passing game AND is familiar with our offense would have received more attention.

Add in the fact that he’s making 1.1m + some bonuses for a total cap hit of 2m dollars, and the situation becomes quite odd; unless of course, he doesn’t really “have it” as much as we are assuming.
