I remember some posters wanted him, they should go stand in the corner for a few minutes.

I would have loved it, won't lie. Doesn't mean I'm not glad we didn't get him. The luxury of being a fan is I can hope for big splash trades and not fret about the consequences.

So you like cancer, cause thats what he is to a team.

I'm an optimist. One who believes that a guy like AB falls in line when he goes to a team with a legendary coach.

I'm also fine with being wrong and, if the rumors are true, apparently the Patriots FO should go stand in a corner too?

Barry was the most entertaining player to watch

He was amazing and no one has ever come close to imitating him. It’s always surprised me that of all the incredible athletes, not one player has been able to run like that. Dion Lewis in 2015 (pre-injury) had handful of runs, most notably against the Dallas, that were Sanders-esque. I’m baffled how Lewis, with that potential, wasted away his first few years as a UDFA who was cut by several teams. I mean, think about that.

In terms of entertaining, I think Sanders, Moss, and Vick were the three that had ungodly physical ability, at least that I’ve seen. Vick wasn’t a great NFL quarterback, but those acceleration skills and top line speed were absolutely absurd. Deion Sanders, Rob Gronkowski, and Ed Reed Gronkowski are worthy of mention.

In fairness, a lot of people thought he’d be a good pickup if he was willing to do a deal that was heavily incentive based with relatively low risk. I mean, it’s obviously not realistic, but they were thinking AB might be talked into career rehab by Rosenhaus by playing for Belichick and also flipping the bird at the Steelers. Could be a game by game accumulating salary or something along those lines. Rosenhaus told Brown (released audio) that the Patriots were interested. The Raiders did the exact wrong thing, which was not only trade for him but also throw even more guaranteed money...just the absolute wrong message, wrong team, wrong locker room. Everything about this transaction was just so, so bad. It’s amazing how sometimes fans can see stuff like this while organizations cannot...they have so much pride it makes them do stupid things.

Moss did a one-year, $3M deal to play with the Patriots (I think they upped it to $5M out of appreciation.).

While I like your take, I call ******** on you being an optimist. I just need to cite last season. You were not being optimistic of our chances to win the Super Bowl.

So the load up screen for Madden 2019 uses a software called Frostbite...can’t make this stuff up

cryotherapy is usually limited to about a 2 minute exposure, so damage is unlikely to extend to deep tissue. Major blistering, for sure, but it's not likely to resemble the prolonged exposures that cause amputations.

Cryotherapy usually also involves wearing the correct footwear...

Probably should stop making assumptions about AB at this point :p
