Figured I’d throw this together for recommendations for movies and TV. I don’t go to plays, but if you have one that you would recommend, feel free.

I’ll start off with “Wind River” with Jeremy Renner and Jon Bernthal. Excellent and chilling movie. I’d definitely recommend streaming it on Covanent if you have Kodi.

Most people already know about Game of Thrones and Westworld, so beyond those two, I would recommend: Narcos, Better Call Saul, The Americans, Bosch, and Sneaky Pete (starring/co-created by Bryan Cranston.)

I’ve heard many good things about Sneaky Pete and Bosch.

I haven't seen Bosch or Sneaky Pete but I'll definitely put them on my list. Your other recommendations are outstanding shows.

    Others I have enjoyed:

Breaking Bad (if there's some way you haven't seen it yet)

    Sons of Anarchy
    - Not perfect, but entertaining and heartfelt.

Justified - I really enjoyed this show. They did a great job with the casting, frequently bringing in top actors and using them wisely.

The Punisher - Exciting show so far; really enjoying it. What amazes me about this show is how I kinda feel uneasy about and don't know that I care for some of the ways Iraq/Afghanistan war vets are portrayed (as well as the Afghanistan war scenes), yet there are some huge kernels of truth in some things and I like how the series shows the biggest thing is the loneliness you can feel because almost no one else understands; just other vets.

Bosch was developed by Eric Overmyer, who was a writer on The Wire (still the best show of all time.) So the two shows kind of share a similar feel. There are a few actors who had pretty big roles on The Wire as well, who are part of the cast.

Sneaky Pete was co-created by Bryan Cranston, and he stars as the main villain in the show. He turns in another great performance.

I saw Punisher recently. Good show. Outside of Daredevil, that's the best Marvel show on Netflix.

Sons of Anarchy would have been much better if they had simply left out that useless season in Ireland. I honestly quit watching the show a few episodes into that, picked it up the next season, and didn't miss anything.

Yeah, I kinda forgot that season existed. It definitely brings the whole show down a notch.

If you are looking for something different and unusual check out "The Man from Earth" 2007.

Interesting and not super long. The entire movie happens as basically a conversation among a group of college professors at a cabin, with all kinds of theoretical things come up. I loved it.

Recently watched "Twin Peaks" for the first time, and I watch the "Twin Peaks, Return". I loved 1990s Twin Peaks thoroughly. I am STILL trying to figure out how I feel about the recent "Twin Peaks Return" from this past summer. It was not like regular TV.

    On Netflix:
Life in Pieces. Hilarious show and an interesting 4-story concept.
Brooklyn nine nine. Although now in season 5 on t.v. it is beginning to show its age and grow stale.
