Nick Caserio extended until 2020

How about A extension for Josh and Matt Patricia or a contract offer for Rex Ryan or Eric Mangini.

1) Extensions for Josh and Patricia would be relatively meaningless since they would still be able to choose to leave for a promotion. I'd still be fine with extensions.

2) The team will make no contract offers to Rex or Mangini.

Bob Kraft has set up Jonathan with some stability. The handling of the coaching staff has been impressive. My guess is that the team has replacements in house for Josh or Patricia should they decide to take a promotion elsewhere. And yes, belichick is always looking around for an addition to bring in at the bottom or as a consultant (or assistant to one of the coordinators or Belichick himself).

That being said, some think that the team would benefit from having additional coaches (they don't cost against the cap).

This may a bet ensure Mcdaniels stays as a possible successor and bides his time since they are so close.

None that I've heard of, and, TBH, I wouldn't expect to hear any, simply because it's just not in the Pats' nature to actually disclose these things. We don't know how long BB, McDaniels, or Patricia are under contract for, let alone Robinson.
