Yeah the public displays of confidence in the Kid were nothing more than a smokescreen now; they likely have about the same idea how he would perform during the regular season as we do, which is to say little to none...
Doubtful that Stid's attendance at a wedding in Texas had anything whatsoever to do with the decision to finalize a deal with Scam, however.

I do like that fact that his signing comes at the price of not having to release another player.
