The Patriots close out the season a very disappointing 8-9, and while this team is flawed, they were actually better than their record would indicate.

Oh, I disagree. They're are exactly as good as their record says they are. Bad situationally. Poor decision-making in most of the year. Always trying to do too much. Playing not to lose several games. Literally handing a win to the other team in more than one game. Yes, a lot of that has to with bad coaching but the 2022 Pats were not better than their record.
