Yup ... Mariano was the greatest of the greats and had a great career. Nothing to cry about here - eventually they all go to pasture.

I hate the Yankees with ever bit of soul in my being, but even so..... This is a pretty sh!tty end to an otherwise great career from a great player. Sucks for him.

Bad news for the Rivera no doubt. It should be interesting to see how their win/loss ratio is affected minus their automatic closer.

Hate the skanks but Rivera had earned the right to go out on his own terms. Hate to see his career end this way.
