Fumbrunner, if you're at the Days Inn on Soldiers Field Road, you are definitely NOT downtown. I believe that's on the Brighton/Newton line. Best thing to do would be to take your rental car from the hotel to the Dedham MBTA Station and then catch the train from there.

I was referring to the Metrodome being downtown in Mpls. But it does look like the train is my best bet.

Grew up and raised in Winnipeg. Living in Vancouver now. Was home for Christmas. Good to know that I am not the only Winnipegger that loves the Pats. Fan since 1985. Also saw my first game this year against Cleveland. My trip to Mecca. Flew into Providence though and stayed in North Attleboro over the Cdn. Thanksgiving weekend.
