These guys have ALL seen freezing cold weather and have played in it. Stopping Michael Turner and our oline in a cold pound it out game will prove verrry difficult.
I know this could be a OT thread but just wanted to post these incredible numbers:
In Green Bay at gametime: Around -5 degrees Fahrenheit!! "Frigid"..(Real feel ~ -24 F !!!!) Holy Sh*t thats freakin cold!!!
They are getting snow/sleet off and on the rest of the week too. That should break records for games played ever!

Here's the wind chill chart, looks like for the Pats game it could be a WC range of 5 above to 10 below depending on whose wind predictoin you go by.

High wind, shorter routes. A strength of the Patriots, oh ye of little faith. Our passing game will be fine, especially since Brady won't be forcing the long ball in Moss's direction like he did with the Ravens.
This will be much worse for the Chargers than the Patriots. Rivers, if he even plays, will be a mess.
My worry is the Patriots defense against the short pass. They have played that region fairly loosely all season, but with wind the long pass is basically out. BB will make adjustments. He has a game plan for tornadoes, hurricanes, tidal waves.
you forgot that he has a gamepan for earthquakes too. I agree, the Charger trolls are forgetting about the impact of cold weather. This will be like a decade ago when Tampa Bucs were going north every year and getting crushed in the playoffs vs GB, Philly, Giants. Chargers will have a difficult time acclimating to holding onto the ball in the cold weather, just like Colts of 3-4 yrs ago
42-13 Pats.
Well considering that LT is the best RB in the past decade and the weak point, by far, is the Pats run game is the run then the Chargers should hold that advantage. Also, considering that that running the ball holds the advantage then the advantage may be fit for the Chargers. Not only that but considering that your 2 ILB's are older and not as good as they were 5 years ago and our defense, although not as good in previous years, are still top 4 in the league. Then you add in the size of our WR's and the fact that the shotput motion that Rivers throws tends to get less effected than the overhead throwing style of Brady in the rain and snow. The more and more I think about the weather the more and more I like the Chargers to win. I would say that if there is heavy winds (20 +) then I would say the game would come down to 50/50 chances. Not bad in my opinion.
I don't remember the cold drastically affecting the Raiders in 2001 during the snowbowl/tuck game. They played pretty good.
I also don't remember Tennessee being subdued by the cold in the playoffs against the Pats. They played pretty good too.
I doubt the cold will have as big an effect as some Pat fans are hoping for....but we can always hope.
