Worlds are colliding. The finale of what many consider to be the best, or one of the best, TV shows EVER is happening when the Pats are playing.

    Not great.

What are you going to do?

I'm watching Breaking Bad about 10 minutes after the Pats game ends.

I always DVR them. I honestly just this past week watched all of the new episodes because I missed them.

Don't have a DVR so I'm going to watch it and either stream the Pats game on my iPad or just switch back and forth when BB is on a commercial.

Watching the game until halftime, watching Breaking Bad then watching the rest of the game.

This is a compromise with the wife, but yes it is awful in a first world problems sort of way because watching either on delay is excruciating.

It's horrible timing. Pats first big prime time network television game of the year coincides with the series finale of the best show on TV. I have to watch it, though. As I mentioned, I don't have DVR and it takes about a week for it to come out OnDemand. I'm not waiting a week to watch it. I'll never be able to escape the talk either at work or amongst friends.

The problem is Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, and Homeland are all on at 9PM this Sunday. I think my DVR is going to explode. I gotta remember to DVR the later broadcasts of Boardwalk and Homeland or I can see my DVR switching over on the game right in the middle of a big play.

Maybe Goodell will call in a power outage that lasts between 9-10:15.

But i'm probably gonna go with the 2 TV setup. Plus I was probably gonna turn down the volume on the game anyways when Collinsworth starts continuously ball washing Ryan, Jones, White, Gonzalez and Samuel.

I don't have cable, so I will do what I usually do, SNF on Sunday night, than BB on Monday after work, or if I can, sneak it during the work day.

Maybe you missed season two of Homeland, so I'll give you a summary: the show is ruined beyond repair. It's too bad because season 1 was incredibly awesome. I kid (sort of)- I'll probably watch it as well sometime during the week.

Pats game on my 17 inch laptop screen through the slingbox during Breaking Bad with Breaking Bad on the TV. If it wasn't the series finale I'd wait until after the game or the next day.

Just FYI for anyone who doesn't know - SNF is streamed for free and in nice HD over the internet by NBC on their website so you can load that up on your laptop, roku, tablet or whatever and watch/pause it there.

If you seriously need to make a decision between a huge live Sunday Night Game for an 3-0 Pats team vs. watching a pre-recorded scripted television show then I question your fan-hood big time.

Girlfriend and I will be watching the Pats game at my sister's house. Neither my sister or her husband watch Breaking Bad, so we're not going to make them stop the game to pick the show up in the last episode. We're DVR'ing it and watching it when we get home. We'll be tired Monday, but I'm not risking anyone at work letting anything slip before I've seen it.

I'm beginning to think you're not actually a person, but some sort of artificial intelligence that was spontaneously spawned from all the negative posts that have ever been written on this forum. Like some kind of Skynet of Negativity, you've become self aware only to bring annoying misery to mankind.

The OnDemand delay always means I watch the HBO shows last, because they are immediately available. So I watch BB in realtime, followed by Ray Donovan then Boardwalk Empire.

Why are all these shows on Sunday Night for heaven's sake?

I have people coming over for BB so I'll need to record the Pats game while the show's on.
